I am an out of box artist. I create art in the same way I write. When I write I build the sentence structure around the word I want to use to convey the message I desire to relay. I like to refer to my art as shape art or mistake art. A little strange I know, but then again so am I. I can start with one line or one shape and in any where from five to fifteen hours later wa-la. Every mistake I make takes me in another direction. In other words I never know where I will end up. There are no mistakes in an abstract world. I love to draw, paint and I have the ability to be able to write in a way that people can relate. I am the girl next door, a sister, a daughter, a mother of a wonderful 25 year old son, Destry, (the light of my life, my hero) who is going to school and working full time in California. I am a professional woman whom has found success in all area of my life. This is a brand new chapter in my life and it proves that it is never too late. I went through a very difficult empty nest when my son went into the service after granduating in 2000. This is an awsome opportunity for me to be able to create and share my lifes experiences through my art. I speak to you through the words I write and I guide your eye to accompany me on a journey through and into my art. I want to be able to see my art through your eyes. God has blessed me with this incredible artistic ability. To date I have created approximately 200 pictures, all unique within themselves. As you will see with my art, I thrive on doing the out of ordinary. I love sharing my art with others and watching their response. I want pictures that will captivate in a way that for years to come people will always see different and new excitement when they journey through my work. Any black and white pictues can be accented with the color of your choice to fit into any decor. I am also available to do commissioned work.
